Williamson County health inspectors found problems at three restaurants -- ranging from insects in the flour to employees with dirty hands.
Cedar Park Donuts on Cypress Creek Road failed its health inspection with 31 demerits. Inspectors found beetles and meal moths in flour bags. The restaurant was also cited for lysol stored next to bags of flour. On the required follow-up inspection, Cedar Park Donuts passed with eight demerits.
The Tokyo Steakhouse at 201 Sundance failed with 35 demerits. Problems included a crate of eggs held at room temperature, flies in the kitchen, and excessive build-up inside the ice machine. On the follow-up inspection, Tokyo Steakhouse passed with no demerits.
Al Capone's at 2601 South I-35 failed with 39 demerits. Problems included no soap in the employee restroom and no time or dates on cooked food in the walk-in cooler. Al Capone's passed a follow-up inspection with 16 demerits. Al Capone's is no longer at that location.
