In the latest "Does It Work?" segment, this product looks too good to be true.
So we wanted to know: Can Flex Seal Spray really stop pretty much any leak? It says it's the easy way to seal up cracks and holes in just about anything. It's supposed to be a rubberized waterproof coating.
Quita Culpepper put it to the test.
We decide to spray a few different items. Flex Seal is supposed to go on in thin even coatings. The problem is, it comes shooting out in a goopy, gooey black stream.
After we let the items dry, we put them to the test. Flex Seal worked great on the small strainer, but not so well on larger holes and cracks.
It gets a thumb in the middle.
