AUSTIN -- One of the best things about summer is cooking on the grill.

But cleaning it can be a real pain.

The Brookstone Motorized Grill Brush promises to whisk away the grease and grime coating your barbecue grill or smoker.

With dual stainless steel bristle brushes, it even has steam cleaning power to get the job done.

The directions say it's best to use the brush when the grill is still hot.

When you spray water on the hot surface it steams up. That's supposed to help soften up the gross residue from all the food that’s been on your grill.

In a few minutes, most of the baked on gunk is gone.  And while it doesn't look new, the grill looks clean enough to cook on.

The Brookstone Motorized Grill Brush gets a thumbs up.

It costs about $30.
