AUSTIN -- Women across the country spend plenty of time and money getting their nails done.

Now one kit claims it can help you get shiny, salon-quality nails at home using the power of magnets.

It's called Magna Nails. The kit claims you can instantly transform your nails into metallic works of art.

Just apply the polish, use the magnets and watch science and beauty collide.

The Magna Nails kit comes with four colors of polish and four magnets that produce different wavy or diagonal lines.

When you apply the polish on some nails, the magnet produces a distinct and pretty pattern, but on others the magnets don’t work at all.

Magna Nails gets a thumb in the middle.

You can find Magna Nails at Walgreens. It costs about $10.
