Now that spring has sprung, grilling season is here. But who wants to wait for charcoal to heat up? Lighter fluid can be dangerous.
Now one product says you can grill instantly and get that delicious charcoal taste to boot. The Flame Disk claims you can take it anywhere, it heats up in an instant, and you still get that charcoal flavor.
Juices from the meat drip onto the pan, and that's supposed to give you the same smoky flame-grilled flavor charcoal would.
Just peel it open, place it in the grill, and light it. In moments, the fire put out by the Flame Disk is hot enough for grilling.
The heat lasts about 45 minutes. The Flame Disk uses eco-friendly ethanol as fuel. It takes just a little water to put the Disk out.
We gave it a "thumbs up."
You can find the Flame Disk at Walgreens stores. It costs about $6.
