Just call me a Big 12 vagabond. I've been a sportscaster in College Station, Waco and now Austin, the town I grew up in. That's half of the Big 12 South, if you're counting. I love college football and have been fortunate enough to have seen a lot of great teams and great games.
I grew up a big Texas fan, and that makes my status as a die-hard Aggie an interesting story to tell. Be sure an ask me about it sometime. Suffice to say Texas A&M was the right fit for me, but I have a healthy respect for the Burnt Orange.
When I'm not working, I love to travel and enjoy all the best parts of living in Texas' best city. The lake, South Austin, the Dell Diamond and of course the downtown nightlife. You'll probably see me at any number of places around the Capitol City. I'm a health nut like so many Austinites, and I enjoy physical challenges like marathons (I'm a Ladybird Lake regular), playing flag football, dodgeball, sand volleyball, you name it. I also like to cook, but I don't always like my cooking!
The best part of my job is sharing in the excitement of sports all over the city and state. I consider it a privilege to work with the best sports team in Central Texas and telling the stories KVUE viewers wants to see.
