British 'ask for Angela' campaign goes viral

A picture posted to Twitter of a poster seen in a British bar bathroom offering women a discreet and safe way out of an uncomfortable date has gone viral.

The picture shows a poster that was posted in a bar bathroom in Lincolnshire, England. The poster reads:

"Hi, I'm Angela,

Are you on a date that isn't working out?

Is your Tinder or POF date not who they said they were on their profile?

Do you feel like you're not in a safe situation?

Does it all feel a bit weird?

If you go to the bar and ask for 'Angela' the bar staff will know you need some help getting out of your situation and will call you a taxi or help you out discreetly - without too much fuss."

The post has been shared by people all over the world, even actor Ashton Kutcher posted it on his Facebook page

The poster is part of Lincolnshire's #NoMore campaign, aimed at putting an end to sexual violence and abuse.

Many people are calling for the campaign to spread to other cities.
