BAGHDAD (AP) — At least 20 people have been killed in two separate attacks in Iraq.
The deadlier of Tuesday's attacks was in the town of Tarmiyah north of Baghdad, when two suicide bombers detonated their explosives-laden belts among a group of soldiers and militiamen.
One attacker blew himself up among the group and the second detonated his explosives at the gate of the compound as people tried to get away. Twenty-three other people were wounded.
In a village near the northern city of Mosul, police say a suicide bomber rammed his car into a checkpoint leading to a police station, killing three policemen and four civilians.
