Power restored in South Austin after rollover crash

AUSTIN - Crews have restored power to more than 2,000 Austin Energy customers after a car crashed into a utility pole.

Austin police said shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday that lanes of Oltorf would be closed “until at least 10 a.m.” between Schriber Street and Alta Vista while crews replace the damaged utility pole. Austin Energy initially said around 2,140 customers were without power after the crash.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
