A Pflugerville family was safe Sunday after a fire ripped through their home this weekend.

Around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters arrived at the house to find it in flames.

The four people inside the home were able to make it out without being hurt.

However, one firefighter suffered a minor injury when he stepped on a nail.

Investigators do not know what caused the fire, but they said the damage is substantial.
