DALLAS — A construction crane toppled over at the Old Hampton Pump Station in West Dallas Friday morning, injuring at least two people.

Emergency crews were at the scene of the accident at Inwood Road and Conveyor Lane, just south of Irving Boulevard on the east bank of the Trinity River.

The injured were taken to a hospital.

The crane's boom fell on top of the one story building that serves as a pumping station for the city's levee system. Two vehicles were crushed by the crane's load.

The accident occurred at around 10 a.m. Thursday.

A sign on the truck indicates the crane is from the Louisiana Crane Company.
