You'll pay about $65 for one of the seats that are left. But as Longhorn fans pay up, Austin cashes in.

The Austin Sports Commission is about to release the results of a new survey weighing the economic impact UT sports has on the city. The City of Austin benefits from the cash spent every game day weekend.

Ed Errasti and his son Shawn have flown in from Boston to see UT take on Florida Atlantic.

"We'll probably drop $800 a thousand, probably, with rent-a-car and the whole nine yards," said Errasti.

Game day money is far reaching -- bars and pubs expect to be packed on Saturday. T-Rex is the kitchen manager at Crown and Anchor Pub.

"Burgers fly out the door, nachos fly out the door, and beer, it's out of the question -- it's crazy!" said T-Rex.

Exactly how much money Austin earns because of UT football is yet to be seen. The latest study, completed back in 2001, estimates each game day is worth $9.5 million.

The Austin Sports Commission is crunching numbers from a new study. They expect a 2008 game day to bring almost $25 million into town.

T-Rex says he doesn't need to see the study -- he's seen the crowds and how much they've grown in the past seven years.

"Everybody comes out to the games now -- more so than back in 2000. A lot of people come from neighboring cities, ever since the national title," says T-Rex.
