A startling wake up call for a woman in East Austin when the driver of a Jeep slams into her home.

It happened just after midnight on East 12th Street near Pleasant Valley Road.

The jeep was removed by the time our camera crew arrived.

Austin police say the driver also hit a phone pole in the front yard, which shot through the window.

No one was hurt.

Police are still trying to figure out why the driver lost control.
