Texas Gov. Rick Perry reiterates plan to run in 2010

FREDERICKSBURG, Texas - Republican Gov. Rick Perry says he's definitely running for re-election in 2010 and that he's like the leader of a prosperous company who should stay on board.
When answering a question from reporters Friday about whether his decision is firm about running again, he said it was. Perry announced last month he was planning to be a candidate for re-election in 2010.
U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, both fellow Republicans, also have been eyeing a run for the state's top post.
Perry says if Texas were a corporation it would be one of the most efficient and successful in the world. He says stockholders of that corporation shouldn't want to replace their chief executive officer.
