Hayden Tucker displays her champion steer, Trigger, at the Ft. Worth Livestock Show Auction of Champions. Trigger was sold for $185,000, a livestock show record.

Trigger, a European crossbred steer raised by 10-year-old Hayden Tucker of Round Rock, was named Grand Champion Steer.

At the Sale of Champions on Saturday, Trigger was sold for $185,000, a livestock show record.  XTO Energy were the winning bidders.

It is the second time Hayden has participated in the livestock show.  The fourth grader took fourth in her class last year.

Tucker says she plans to save the money for college.
