The man for some reason abandoned his Ford Explorer and left it running at 38th and 1/2 and Red River.

When he got out of the S-U-V, police say he yanked the UPS driver from behind the wheel of his delivery truck.

The man then jumped into the UPS truck and drove to the northbound frontage road of I-35.

Police say the carjacker then jumped out of the UPS truck and left it running in the middle of a lane on the frontage road of I-35 at 32nd Street.

The running UPS truck drifted back into an innocent driver's car but did not do any major damage.

Police arrested the accused carjacker a few blocks away.

They've taken him to the hospital because they say he was acting strange.

The UPS driver is okay.

The man who yanked him out of his truck did not have a weapon.

He is being charged with felony theft, and his name is not being released.
