MOJAVE DESERT, California -- If you're not a fan of the weather on Earth, why not take a vacation into space?
Hundreds of people are spending some big bucks for a seat on the first spaceship that will offer rides to anybody who can afford it.
Virgin's Galactic will start shuttling passengers in 2014. The mothership will carry Spaceship Two up, then release it to glide back to Earth.
A ticket to space costs $250,000.
Officials say commercializing space travel may lead to faster flight times around the world.
