AUSTIN -- In this Tech Tuesday report, an Austin original is expanding.
Online vacation rental giant HomeAway is expanding to The Domain. In the eight years since HomeAway started, it has grown to more than 1,300 employees in 18 different offices.
Endeavor Real Estate Group confirms that will soon include 115,000 square feet near the yet-to-open Whole Foods store. HomeAway will reportedly continue to occupy its current home office at 5th Street and Lamar Boulevard in Downtown Austin.
Move-in at the Domain location is scheduled for September 2014.

With all our tech gadgets, safety in the car is a big concern. If you can afford one of the newer high-end cars it may come with a heads up display or HUD. If you can't afford it Garmin has something for the rest of us.
The Garmin HUD does more than just put the speed you are driving on the windshield,  it also reflects your GPS directions so you never have to take your eyes off the road. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
The Garmin HUD is waiting on FCC approval but when it goes on sale it will cost about $130 plus $30 for the Garmin app which you have to download.

Wednesday is the five year anniversary of the app. iTunes is marking the big day by giving away 10 apps for free.
They range from games to fitness to cooking. The list changes, so to see which ones are available now, go to iTunes and click on the "5 years of the app store" banner.
