How annoying is it when you’re in the movie theater and the person next to you is using their phone and is tweeting?

In one theater in Rhode Island, management has decided to go with the flow.  Rather than banning the tweeting, they’ve set aside 20 seats in the back of the theater just for tweeters!

To limit distractions, the theater asks tweeters to turn down the brightness on phones and tablets and to not ruin the experience for others.

Marketing Projects Coordinator Caitlyn Dipompo says the theater also asks that tweets not reveal any crucial plot lines from the show.

Some of the theaters on Broadway are also experimenting with “Tweet Seats”.
