AUSTIN -- Music legend Bruce Springsteen took the stage at the Austin Music Hall Wednesday night at the 30th annual Austin Chronicle Austin Music Awards.
The Boss joined Alejandro Escovedo and Joe Ely in a performances of Escovedo's "Always a Friend" and the Rolling Stone's "Beast of Burden."
Springsteen delivers the keynote speech Thursday at the South by Southwest Music Festival.
His 17th studio album, "Wrecking Ball," was released this month.
