AUSTIN -- An annual South by Southwest party held over the weekend brought in thousands of dollars for charity.

Perez Hilton's 'One Night in Austin' was held at Austin Music Hall on March 16, featuring performances by Fall Out Boy and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

According to a release by Giant Noise, the event raised $53,000 for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, which is a non-profit aimed at restoring instrumental music education in schools.

The release states that the event also raised money for GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network. That organization ensures "safe schools for all and creating a world in which every child learns to respect and accept all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression."

There were also performances by Angel Haze, Capital Cities, Wynter Gordon, Paloma Faith and many more.
