CLEVELAND, Texas – An Amber Alert has been issued for four children who were abducted along with their mother early this morning from their grandparents’ home in Cleveland.

Police say the four Contreras children were staying with their mother, Amy Contreras, at their maternal grandparents’ home. At roughly 5 a.m., Ramiro Contreras came to the house brandishing a gun.
Shots were reportedly fired in the house and the grandfather ran to a neighbor’s and called 911.
The children and their mother were gone when the police arrived.
