The Six Flags Over Texas amusement park in Arlington is closing for the
day because of flooding.
Park spokeswoman Sandra Daniels says no injuries have been reported
in the flooding blamed on a nearby creek that's overflowed due to heavy
rain.
Fast-moving water could be seen gushing through areas of the popular
entertainment complex located midway between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Water swirled around closed rides and flowed over walkways usually
crowded with thousands of summer visitors.
Areas of North Texas have been inundated by water following heavy
rain and flooding that's been on-and-off for days.
