Fergie, Fogerty, McBridge join 2008 Houston Rodeo lineup

Pop star Fergie and rock legend John Fogerty are among the 21 entertainers who will perform at the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Between them, the stars on the 2008 lineup have chalked up 18 Grammy awards, 73 Country Music Association Awards and 90 Academy of Country Music Awards.

As previously announced, Tim McGraw will kick off the 2008 season on March 3. His wife, Faith Hill, takes the stage the following night.

Country favorites returning to the rodeo inlcude Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Clay Walker and Brooks and Dunn.

Singing sensation Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus leads the parade of non-country stars with a show on Sunday, March 9. John Forgarty will rock the rodeo on March 12 and Fergie takes the stage on March 19.

Other non-country stars include R&B star John Legend and Spanish recording artists Los Horoscopos de Durango.

Tickets went on sale January 12th at all Ticketmaster locations. They are also on sale at Reliant Park, at www.rodeohouston.com or by phone at 1.800.726.1313.

Ticket prices range from $16 to $300, plus service charges. There is no service charge if you buy tickets at Reliant.

There are no tickets available for the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus performance on Sunday, March 9. But stay tuned for details of a ticket giveaway on KHOU.com.

Season tickets provide the same great tickets for all 20 RodeoHouston performances. Season Ticket prices start at $380 per ticket, plus a $10 handling fee per order. The cost also includes admission to Reliant Center, Reliant Arena, The Hideout (21 and older) and the carnival.

RodeoHouston fans can purchase a nine–performance Mini-Season Ticket package, but all of the Package B tickets (which includes Hannah Montana) are sold out. Mini-Season Tickets cost $171 per ticket in the loge level (plus a $10 handling fee per order), guaranteeing the same great seats for nine action-packed, star-studded performances.

Package A includes the March 3, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19 and 21 performances.

Package B – This package includes the March 4, 6, 9, 10, 13, 15, 18, 20 and 22 performances.
