FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas -- A woman was arrested Monday afternoon after police determined she was impaired and unable to drive her vehicle.
23-year-old Samantha Baldwin of New Orleans, Louisiana was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
In a press release, Fayette County Sheriff Office said they received a report of a vehicle stalled on the entrance ramp in LaGrange on Highway 71 westbound. After a short interview with Baldwin, a deputy determined Baldwin was impaired and unable to operate her vehicle.
During the inventory of the vehicle the deputy located what was believed to be meth.
Baldwin was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
