DAYTON, Texas -- The two-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself Tuesday night in Liberty County is listed in good condition.
Officials say the little boy wandered into a bedroom and got a hold of a loaded 9mm semiautomatic.
The gun went off. The toddler was shot in the chest.
The owner of the gun is the boy’s uncle. So far, no charges have been filed.
Dayton police are still investigating this incident.
