SAN ANTONIO -- Three people, including a dancer and a patron at the club, were wounded overnight in a shootout inside a strip club on the city's north side, police say.
At least one of the men who opened fire at Sugar's was still at large on Thursday morning, but San Antonio police say they know the suspect.
At least two of the victims struck by bullets were not the intended targets, police said.
One man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm; another man was shot in the buttocks; and a dancer at the club was also shot in the rear.
Police said the man who was shot in the rear turned up at a local hospital. They were reluctant to call him a suspect until they were finished sorting out the scene.
An eyewitness told KENS 5 he saw the shootout unfold.
"I was standing there with a beer, and he ... busted out. And just blowin'," the witness said.
Another dancer suffered an anxiety attack in the parking lot, police said.
Officers said they have to determine which of the shooters is criminally responsible. That person will face multiple charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
