Because there were so many people wounded in Thursday's mass shooting, victims were rushed to hospitals across Texas.

Many of those soldiers were taken to Scott and White Hospital in Temple, and there was a massive response from that community.

Two of the wounded soldiers from this mass shooting were rushed to a hospital in Round Rock.

Friday, one of them had been released.

Both of the soldiers were awake when the medical helicopter touched down at Seton Medical Center Williamson Thursday.

They both suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.

The soldier who remains in the hospital underwent surgery last night -- and is in serious condition.

Just a month ago, Seton Williamson wouldn't have been ready to help.

“We had just recently opened a trauma within the last month and were able to provide service to Williamson County which has been lacking from this type of service” said Brian Aldred, MD, Seton Medical Center Williamson.

Thursday was the first time the Seton Williamson treated more than one person with gunshot wounds.
