HOUSTON – There were some scary moments Monday when a gun went off at Spring Woods High School in Spring Branch ISD.
A student was showing the 380-calibur handgun to classmates when it fired, according to the Spring Branch ISD police chief.
The bullet went through a wall and no one was hurt.
A teacher and 25 students were in the classroom at the time. The freshman was arrested by SBISD police and taken into custody. He faces a charge of possession of a handgun on school grounds.
