FORT WORTH –– The Fort Worth Police Department’s SWAT team surrounded a home in the 6800 block of Permian Lane Tuesday afternoon in a search possibly connected to the murder of a realtor in her office Monday.

Officers fired tear gas into a home and blew the garage door off to prepare to enter it. It's believed to be related to the stabbing death of Suzanne Parsons, 49, who was identified Tuesday morning.

She died at 4:38 p.m. Monday in her RE/MAX real estate office on Heritage Trace Parkway near the Alliance Town Center.

Police said they were searching for a man in his 50s for questioning.

Fort Worth police converged in the north Fort Worth neighborhood at about noon. A spokesman is on the scene but has not briefed the media. There's a large SWAT presence on the block, including an armored truck and a mobile command vehicle. Police have not identified the person they believe to be inside the home.
