BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas -- A Brazoria County woman charged in connection with the deaths of two infant sons is pregnant again.
Kristi-An Walker of Angleton is charged with injury to a child and murder in the June 21 death of her 6-month-old son, Jahiem.
Officers went to her residence in the 600 block of West Live Oak on June 21.
”When they got there, the mother was performing CPR, according to the officer,” Angleton Police Sgt. Kirk Coleman told the Houston Chronicle. “Later on, we discovered she was only pretending. She knew the baby was dead.”
Police say she admitted that she'd abused the baby boy before.
”She admitted physically abusing the 6-month-old when he was 4 months old, by throwing him up against the wall and furniture,” Coleman told the Chronicle.
Walker faces another count of injury to a child for the death of her 4-month-old son, Aden, in April 2011, when she lived in Freeport.
Walker’s oldest child, a 3-year-old son, was taken into Child Protective Service custody, Coleman said.
