LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas -- A man accused of injuring two Texas game wardens this weekend was arrested Monday afternoon.

Saturday morning game wardens in McLennan County, east of Waco, pulled over a truck without working headlights. They say the driver rammed into their patrol vehicle and drove off.

During the chase police say someone in Teddy Wayne Davenport's truck shined a light towards the game wardens, causing them to crash.

Both game wardens were injured. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries.

Davenport now faces two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and one charge of evading arrest.
