Felon killed neighbor for wearing 'red hat'

A stabbing at the Juliette Fowler Apartments late Monday night left one elderly man dead and another in custody. The suspect, Joe Silva, 68, became involved in a disturbance around 11:55 p.m. in the lobby of the apartment complex, located in the 100 block of Juliette Fowler Street. Silva then stabbed the victim, who has not been identified.
