TEXAS -- Sunday night, a 14-year-old East Texas girl is fighting for her life after testing positive for the flu. That's according to our sister station in Tyler.
Jennings Neel, 14, from Marshall felt sick a day after Christmas and kept getting worse.
Yesterday she was flown to the children's hospital in Dallas and is in critical condition Sunday night.
Doctors now say she has acute pneumonia as a complication from having the flu.
Currently, Texas has the highest number of flu cases. The majority of those patients are testing positive for the H1N1 strain, otherwise known as Swine Flu.
