WEST, Texas - West is a tiny town of less than 3,000. When a plant explosion sent shockwaves through the large Czech community there, many gathered at an area store called the Czech Stop for information, supplies and a little bit of normalcy.
That meeting spot played such a big role in the recovery — even President Barack Obama mentioned it at Thursday’s memorial.
Now the Czech Stop is trying to help West move forward.
