Car hits tree

A late-night crash sent a driver to the hospital in critical condition in north Harris County, deputies said Tuesday. The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Aspen Bend Drive near Misty Forest Court. Wet roads played a factor in the crash, but officials said they also found beer bottles in the car.
