FORT WORTH –– A 10-year-old boy was among three victims in a deadly shooting Monday night in east Fort Worth.
Fort Worth police confirm the boy, along with an adult female, died. A third victim, also an adult female, was pronounced dead Tuesday morning.
Fort Worth police arrested Amos Wells, 22, after interviewing him late on Monday evening. He is charged with capital murder and jailed on a $2 million bond.
At around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, police responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of Pate Drive and found three victims shot: a 20-year-old pregnant woman, a woman in her late 30s and the boy.
The pregnant woman had injuries to her back, according to MedStar. Friends told News 8 the woman in her 30s was the pregnant woman's mother.
Police would not confirm if the mother or the daughter was the woman killed.
The young boy was shot in the chest and the head.
Neighbors, friends and family who showed up at the scene were very emotional, shouting and at times trying to rush into the crime scene. Two younger men were detained.
None of the victims have been named.
