HOUSTON – The boyfriend of a woman found fatally shot inside her northeast Houston home Monday was arrested Tuesday after a police chase, Houston police said.

The man was taken into custody Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. following a brief chase on the north side of town.

The chase lasted for 10 to 15 minutes. It started off Antoine and ended in the 7800 block of Kempwood.

Family members found 44-year-old Priscilla Lindsey dead Monday at about 9:17 a.m. in the 4400 block of Long Climb Canyon, police said.

The family members said they had not heard from Lindsey and went to check on her.

Investigators said she had been shot in the head.

Linsey’s mother said the family had concerns about the boyfriend.
