DALLAS — First Baptist Dallas dedicated the fountain at the heart of its sprawling, new downtown campus on Palm Sunday evening.
Next weekend, the church will celebrate the official grand opening of a renovation that has been years in the making — and has transformed the city skyline.
WFAA got a preview of the church's $130 million downtown campus last week. The centerpiece is a 3,000-seat worship complex designed to feel majestic and intimate.
There is also a five-story family center dedicated to the children and youth ministries, including indoor playgrounds and bright classrooms.
First Baptist Dallas has been a part of downtown Dallas for 145 years.
