BAYTOWN, Texas — A mother said someone posted a four to five minute child pornography clip on her daughter’s Facebook page. She said at least five other students at her daughter’s school received it too.
They all attend Ross Sterling High School in Baytown, where the woman’s 17-year-old daughter is a senior.
The mother did not want her identity to be revealed, but does want her story heard.
“Someone needs to see that video,” she said. “I think the public should see it because that may be their child.”
The video includes a boy who appears to be around 1 years old with a woman in her late teens or early 20s.
“A woman that’s just having sex with this child,” the mother said.
She said her daughter did not recognize the woman, but went straight to school officials as soon as she watched the video.
“And they called me and said ‘you need to get up here because you have to report this, because you know this is a child,’” she said.
It is unclear whether the people in the video are local, whether the person who sent it is the person in the clip, or if it is spam.
Regardless, the act is a felony and the mother simply wants to protect those who were victimized.
KVUE's sister station in Houston, KHOU reached out to parents and students leaving school on Tuesday, but none had seen or heard of the video.
Spokespersons for the Goose Creek ISD and Child Protective Services said it was the first they heard of it too.
Baytown police are aware of the matter.
