HOUSTON—A freshman at Blinn College’s main campus in Brenham has died after collapsing.
Jason Mouton and friends were practicing for intramural football on campus Tuesday night when he collapsed.
Mouton was from Houston and was majoring in liberal arts.
A candlelight vigil will be held outside Solons Hall on the Brenham campus at the corner of Blinn Boulevard and College Avenue starting at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Counselors will also be available Wednesday all day at Room 1 of the Student Center and until 5 p.m. in Room 206 of the Administration Building.
Funeral services are pending.
