Gov. Rick Perry's Twitter mishap

AUSTIN -- Texas Governor Rick Perry found himself facing a Twitter mishap Sunday night.

The official @GovernorPerry account sent out a tweet around 7:20 p.m. with a photo-shopped image of Travis County DA Rosemary Lehmberg.

The tweet said, "I don't always drive drunk at 3 times the legal blood alcohol limit, but when I do I indict Governor Perry for calling me out about it. I am the most drunk democrat in Texas."

The tweet was deleted shortly after it was posted.

At 8:20 p.m, a new tweet went out from Gov. Perry's account.

"A tweet just went out from my account that was unauthorized. I do not condone the tweet and I have taken it down," tweeted Gov. Perry.

No further information has been released on how exactly the first tweet got sent out.
