Nothing says Valentine’s Day like a courtship dance! During a trip to the Galapagos Islands in 2000 I had the chance to see the male blue-footed boobies in action! They perform dances for the ladies by lifting their large, bright-blue feet in the air—actually kind of funny to me, but the females must like it!
