HAYS COUNTY -- The Hays County Fire Marshal says the fire which destroyed a Wimberley ACE hardware store over the weekend left about $3 million in damages.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire officials are waiting on heavy equipment to arrive so they can remove the roof that fell into the building.
The store is a total loss after catching fire late Friday night. The store is Wimberley's third largest employer.
