CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The First Tee of Charlotte hosted a celebrity golf match to celebrate ten years of serving Charlotte area youth.
NBA guard Stephen Curry, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith, ESPN analyst Jay Bilas and NBC Charlotte’s own Meghan Danahey came out to play. Danahey used to be a meteorologist at KVUE.
Each celebrity’s team included some of the young members of First Tee.
The tournament benefits The First Tee of Charlotte, a youth program that teaches children about golf and life skills.
Organizers cut the event short because of weather. A winner will have to be decided next year!
