AUSTIN -- Austin State Representative Mark Strama said the 83rd Legislative Session will be his last, and he's considering a run for mayor.

The Democrat wrote in a bog post that he decided not to seek re-election before the session began.

Strama called his 10 years in the state house both "wonderful" and "frustrating."

He said he will make a decision whether to run for mayor of Austin after the session is over.
