AUSTIN -- After five months of work, an Austin commission has approved the final map of the 10 City Council districts.

The map passed unanimously Monday night. Austin voters will now elect an 11-member council, including the mayor, next November.

Each district contains about 80,000 residents. Future council candidates will have to live and campaign in their districts.

Go here for a look at the map.
