Gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina says despite poll numbers showing her behind Incumbent Governor Rick Perry the fight to win the primary election isn't over for her yet.
With red white and blue balloons and Medina for Governor signs, it was the perfect setting for a victory bash.
Things started out slow at Medina's Texas Independence Day party -- many supporters went to their precinct party meetings before showing up at Hinze barbecue in Wharton.
Medina's campaign manager went to the podium to read prayers and encouragement letters from all over the nation.
When Medina finally arrived, there was a large crowd on hand to shake her hand say hello and cheer her on. She's not ready to concede defeat.
Medina spent the day stumping for last minute votes in Wharton, Harris and Fort Bend Counties.
