DALLAS (AP) — Gov. Rick Perry says the elections of Republican governors in New Jersey and Virginia this week signal a dissatisfaction with policies in Washington.
Speaking at a Texas Economic Development Summit in Dallas on Wednesday, Perry said Americans were concerned about spending practices in Washington.
Perry said, "Obviously, Americans in those two states, and I think there's some reflection all across the country, of concern about Washington, D.C., that is spending money seemingly hand over fist; turning the printing presses on with abandon."
Perry, who is fighting a Republican primary re-election challenge from U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, says the majority of Texans feel the same way.

I can't wait to see what the Texas Governor election will show when we vote Perry out of office! Perry the hypocrite: stands up for abstinence only but votes for a mandatory anti-cervical cancer vaccine for young girls! Talks about secession, but then accepts federal stimulus funds from Obama. Preaches against gay boy scout leaders but then IS one!!
