SEATTLE, Wa. -- A window washer working at a downtown Seattle building falls eight stories and it's all caught on tape.

A security camera recorded the incredible scene as the man plummeted toward the ground, only to be saved by his rope. Fire crews believe Eduardo Lozada, 34, stopped just inches short of the ground when the accident happened.

"We heard some yelling; we looked over at the window. We saw a body come through the 7th floor window, and then he fell - continued to fall," said Robert Kleppen, who witnessed the fall.

Rescuers say after looking closely at the video tape, it appears as though Lozada's legs actually hit the ground.

After the fall, Lozada was conscious and talking. Witnesses were stunned he survived with only a broken pinky finger.
